Can I Have This Dance - Troy, Gabriella
Take my hand, take a breath
Pull me close and take one step
Keep your eyes locked on mine,
And let the music be your guide.

Won't you promise me (now won't you promise me, that you'll never forget)
We'll keep dancing (to keep dancing) wherever we go next

It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
Can I have this dance

Take my hand, I'll take the lead
And every turn will be safe with me
Don't be afraid, afraid to fall
You know I'll catch you threw it all

And you can't keep us apart (even a thousand miles, can't keep us apart)
'Cause my heart is (cause my heart is) wherever you are

It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
Can I have this dance

Oh no mountains too high enough, oceans too wide
'Cause together or not, our dance won't stop
Let it rain, let it pour
What we have is worth fighting for
You know I believe, that we were meant to be

It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you (like you)
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do (way we do)
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
Can I have this dance

Can I have this dance
Can I have this dance

My first times...
9:42:00 PM
There are so many first times that I had since the start of this month. I had my army training for the first time in overseas, whereby me for the first time encounter typhoon hitting my camp area. I also for the first time tried the famous cup noodles that my instructors had always talked about. This is so much so that even my PC actually packed a carton to send back to Singapore for his own. Also, this is my first time celebrated National Day in the middle of the forest, encountering three types of weather in just one day: hot and hot, rain and rain, clod and very cold, just in one day. Also, my first time in Taiwan tried the famous ninja van's food: a vehicle that you will be looking forward to especially at hot weather.

Also, in Taiwan, for the first time I visited River of Life church, our affiliated church to HMI, and see how is it like inside, first time having a proper meal with the Taiwan church friends at a restaurant nearby. I had tried my first time riding on a bike when Joshua send me back to the hotel. In Taiwan is also the first time I visited so many theme parks and really enjoyed myself there, and staying in a hotel that should be worth more than 3 stars. Eating at fast food at overseas also being my first time as I do not want to do that in the past due to waste of money. Oh, before I forget, my first time taking the MRT in Taiwan and see how considerate Taiwanese are (Singaporean don't even think that you are nice ok? Wait till you see the Taiwanese).

Just yesterday, I had my first time taking care of little kids, and especially Jigdesh. I finally know how Serene and Joanne felt when they take them for lessons on Sunday. It will be kind of crazy for me to take them (I do not know how to handle super hyper active kids, got chance Serene teach me ok?)

And the following half of the year there is much much more first times I might be enocuntering. This includes my first time in a unit life, going to take some brand new little boys that going to turn into men and fight side by side with me in the future. Also, going to join media department and being the first time to finally exposed to visual media, rather that audio media.

I realised that all these first times does not come just like that. God really gave me so many opportunites to try out things that I did not do before, letting me to experience life in a different way, rather than just a mandane life. There are also begin to have more avenues in my life to have a chance to share the gospel if I am able to, really see how am I going to start it (beginning to feel like Moses seeing a buring bush talking to him). I really pray that this going to be one of my first times in my life to, sharing the gospel to others and really change their lives.

Are there first times in your life? How do you react upon it, by having a moment of excitment and forget about it or have a lasting impression and making a impact out of it?

Verse:
Ephesians 5:15-16
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
