Can I Have This Dance - Troy, Gabriella
Take my hand, take a breath
Pull me close and take one step
Keep your eyes locked on mine,
And let the music be your guide.

Won't you promise me (now won't you promise me, that you'll never forget)
We'll keep dancing (to keep dancing) wherever we go next

It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
Can I have this dance

Take my hand, I'll take the lead
And every turn will be safe with me
Don't be afraid, afraid to fall
You know I'll catch you threw it all

And you can't keep us apart (even a thousand miles, can't keep us apart)
'Cause my heart is (cause my heart is) wherever you are

It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
Can I have this dance

Oh no mountains too high enough, oceans too wide
'Cause together or not, our dance won't stop
Let it rain, let it pour
What we have is worth fighting for
You know I believe, that we were meant to be

It's like catching lightning the chances of finding someone like you (like you)
It's one in a million, the chances of feeling the way we do (way we do)
And with every step together, we just keep on getting better
So can I have this dance (can I have this dance)
Can I have this dance

Can I have this dance
Can I have this dance

Summary 101
7:54:00 AM
I just realized one thing: my blog post is always very very very short. That is why today I just give myself a summary of what happen to me for the past few days since Friday.

Friday:
God really showed me His miraculous power by allowing to pass my SOC with such a timing that I could not even imagine that I could do it. 9 minutes and 14 seconds is the time that I complete. With that timing, I had effectively beat some of the fitter platoon mates that I have in camp. All this must give thanks to God. If not for Him, I could not have done it. That day was also the day when all things just simply fall in place for me. I nearly could not book out on that day as my name was in the confinement list, which only allowed me to book out at 9.30am the next day. However, after clarifying with my PWO about my confinement, he realized that he had made a mistake and he allowed me to book out, an hour after the main body had booked out. Better than nothing right? My day ended at home surfing the net and enjoying myself for the first ever Friday book outafter so many weeks that I do not even know how many that I missed.

Saturday:
Afternoon, I went lunch with my cluster. Aaron could not make it last minute due to his family insisting him of having family outing for his younger brother's birthday. The other person that could not make it was Dominic. He gave the most funniest excused that I could imagine. He thought that the gathering was next Saturady instead of this one. An excused indeed cost him something. I treated the rest of my cluster with Mad Jack. He got nothing. Never mind, he will get one soon from me next time. After lunch, we went to Island Creamery to have some desserts. I could not find the photo that the youth team had took recently in June. However, the one that took it last September was still there. Funny right? I had banana split, which fills up whole of stomach and indeed the ice-cream is nice. Eugene fetched us later to church, where the youth leaders having meeting while the rest just slack around doing nothing, visibly to sleep.

Youth was fun, we sang birthday sons over and over again to Serene as it was her birthday. The topic for Youth was having a positive attitude and giving your best shot in whatever things you do. It really speaks to me as sometimes I ever wonder why was I in a vocation that I do not even like and God still placed me there. But I really tried my best, sometimes gave up, especially during field camp, and God showed up in times of my needs and alwasy be htere for me. I really have to thank Him for all he things He have done in my life.

After youth, we gave a surprise to Serene by bringing her to Tea Party, located along Sixth Avenue. We had tea there and guess who we saw? Marc! He was having fun with lots of his friends and gals. Birthday cake was served to Serene (again) as a celebration from the youth. Scone there was nice and is highly recommended by me! Some photos of the event:
We had dinner at the coffee shop nearby after the celebration (as you know the food there is too expensive for average people like us). Okay, people have their first time at the coffee shop: like Winston had his first prawn, same as Hui Ping. All of us enjoyed ourselves for the day and got home to prepare for the Sunday morning prayer.

Sunday:
Morning Prayer for me was a tragedy, I actually dozed off the last part of the meeting. I was too tired ad my head was aching the whole day long. However, the service was good as Pastor Richard talks about surrender. There are many things in my life that I have to surrender. Some things include my future, my distractions and my relationships. Through surrender, God then can work in me, like a broken vessel that can be fixed once again. I really got touched by God yesterday and really thank Him for everything in my life.

I went back home early even though it should be the day of enjoyment for Monday is an off-in-lieu. I was completely sick that day and had to go back home and had an early rest. I recovered by evening and thank God for the healing that He had blessed me. The rest of the day was with my family and my computer. I finally managed to send the Youtube video to Haohong after so many conversions of the files, by 11.30pm. Day ended just like that.

Monday:
Here I am typing this post as of this time of 9.20am. Just had breakfast with my mother. I will be heading down to my JC to collect my ugly certificate, and to purchase things needed for Taiwan end of this week.

Summary of me the past few days! Really have to thank God for everything that He has done in my life and some miracles that He performed that I could not even expect. Overall I said that my time was spent more fruitfully for the last few days as God is present for the last few days, which makes things done seems more satisfying than other days. Also, for having more time that I have means more rest that I get.

Well, last post (more or less) before I leaving for Taiwan next week. I try to update the blog during rest and recreation in Taiwan if possible, so as to not make this blog look dead. Till then, take care and God bless to all!
